The Recording department of the Probate Judge Office is located on the bottom floor of the courthouse. The duties of the record room include the recording, indexing, and preserving of public documents, such as deeds and mortgages. We also record documents such as judgments, liens, and corporations, etc. This department provides viewing stations for the public to access the recorded information.
